I dont find anything as this, after longer search
I need a VST plugin that let me add inside other VST plugin audio effects as inserts.I want combine a good chorus, reverb, step sequencer gate, filter, pitch shifter, stereo width reducer/enhancer VST. sure i can all add in a mixer channel, but i want a setting done to create a nice pad and store at once in 1 file. So when i load the file, the settings of all effect plugins are set, i use in this VST plugin
Is something available, and whats the name ?
I see there are very few good multieffects here. there is warmverb, but stereo width can not reduce, and the gate have no step sequencer.
Or if not something is here Maybe somebody know a plugin, that offer all features i need.

With MUX you can create your own effects!

Reaper also let you save full FX-configurations (including instruments) and complete track-setups. I used MultiFXvst ages ago when I was still using Orion, because the limitation on the amount of inserts in that host (at that time, don't know if that's still the case). Now with Reaper I don't need it anymore, but it's still on my HD.Mister Natural wrote:native to LIVE - it's called a rack

As much as I still like and use Chainer, I suggest people look elsewhere:.EvilDragon wrote:http://www.kvraudio.com/product/chainer ... op/details
- Some newer plugins don't work with it.
- The author has categorically said that he has no intention of updating it.
- It was developed in VST 2.3.
I would definitely spend my money on something more recent and actively developed.
A shame really, because it's still the smallest, tightest, most solid and most efficiently written VST host ever. The last revision of this host was in 2002! And if I'm not mistaken, it's one of the few, if only self-contained hosts that can be stand-alone AND plugin: it can even host itself. Interesting that in 12 years no one's done something as flexible as this. Then again maybe that's why Xlutop hasn't felt a pressing need to improve on their already outstanding work.

How come no one has taken the idea of Artillery / Effectrix / Glitch and made it into an effect chainer where you can load your own VSTs and create your own parameters and trigger your own effects, roll your own!?

Thanks for the list. Are you sure about MUX? AFAICT, MUX is only a plugin though the basic MuLab host is free.whyterabbyt wrote: bidule

To the OP: I think there's a relevant distinction that needs to be made between all the hosts mentioned in this thread: some are just basic racks, like Chainer, Patchwork, MultifxVST... and others require the user to wire their own connections like Bidule, Metaplugin, VSTForx, Console...
Both have their merits. Wiring your own allows a much greater flexibility in experimental design while the rack types are much faster to instantiate a string of conventional plugins. In general, I have a tendency to use the racks more often and wired ones less, but I've accomplished some crazy things with the wired ones that I could never have done with the racks. FYI...

StutterEdit is another. I suspect that some conventional VST plugins might fail in the live automation and latency departments. You need some really tight automation to do this live so effects used in that environment are likely super optimized for this, sometimes probably even at the expense of audio quality.Architeuthis wrote:How come no one has taken the idea of Artillery / Effectrix / Glitch and made it into an effect chainer where you can load your own VSTs and create your own parameters and trigger your own effects, roll your own!?
I'd sure like to see something like this simply because it would be a real stress test of parameter automation for a lot of plugins out there...
