Problem choosing input/output channels in Audio Settings

Good evening, I'm new to Effectrix but I'm trying to use it with my guitar as an input and have encountered the following problems in the standalone version (using an M-Audio Fast Track Pro):

- I can't choose the input channel! It doesn't matter which channel I choose as an input, Effectrix disregards any alterations I make and use the 2 input channels from Fast Track Pro. So my guitar can only be heard in one channel (eg. the left one, the right one is assigned to the other Fast Track Pro channel)

- If I change any of the output channels I simply don't get any more audio coming... It must stay as it is by default, the only change I can effectively make is to choose an ASIO driver

I tried updating the Fast Track Pro driver to no avail. My Pc is a Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, 4GHz DDR3, I'd be very grateful if anyone ould tell me how to mix/pan/route the standalone version correctly. Thank you
