I checked it out and HERE is an emulation of the emulation of that string synth part
I restricted myself to the use of a Musynth.
So, if you are in need of an old string sound, check it out.
Edit - Just a tip: Use the meta params on top to edit the tone and effect and the amp envelope for, eemh, amplitude shaping.
If you need a phaser, just switch it on. It's depth is controlled by the same Ensemble meta param.
