Possible to make an oscillator always play the correct midi notes but in the same octave in zebra?

I would just use multiple instances... that is the easiestfrenchboy wrote:thanks i didnt think of that. Modulate the tune by 12st and turn keyscaling to 0? Or is there a better way?jupiter8 wrote:ModMapper ?

Multiple instances of Zebra... If you want to cover a 5 octave range, then 5 instances of Zebra with each playing the same preset but transposed...frenchboy wrote:multiple instances of what? I use Live so I would use a Live instrument rack to split the instances across the key range.
If you do not have some sort of key split facility, then it is a little fussier... then use the suggestion by Jupiter8 and use a modmapper... you would have to apply it to each sound source... osc's, comb module etc... So for Osc 1 tune mod, select modmapper 1 and set it to a modulation depth of +24 (5 octave range) Then set the modmapper to key mode, right click reset and enlarge the modmapper for easier editing. The lower of 5 octaves would be set +100, the second of 5 at +50, the middle octave stays at 0, the 4th octave at -50 and 5th at -100... to be able to grab the specific note in the modmapper, hold that key down on your keyboard.
Using multiple instances is easier and then if you want to change presets you do not have to recreate the modmapper all over again... but it does work with the modmapper.
