MuLab + MindPlace Kasina AVS/BWE

Hi,

I'm pleased to advise that Kasina, a product I have been working on with MindPlace has been released.

Audiovisual Stimulation (also Brainwave Entrainment) has tradition back to flames and drumming. Today brain rhythm rate beats are used for a multitude of therapeutic, self-developmental and recreational pursuits.

Apart from being and MP3 player and basic synth, the Kasina uses SpectraStrobe, audio-encoded signals, to control six light channels, expressed as red, green and blue (and all mixes) per eye. The user wears special LED glasses (GanzFrames).

The Kasina works with a variety of software. My mission was to make it work with MuLab/MUX. There are three Muxes available for download from the Kasina support site. The first, TKE, is primarily for adding beats and lights to existing music, another, KLO, uses MIDI to control the lights and the last, KBE, generates complex audio beats.

I'm thinking this may be of interest because the Kasina offers an excellent foundation for light/sound performance and display. It also opens a market to musicians who may wish to create fully encoded content for sale.

I have been developing music and soundscapes for Kasina lately and will check out Mulab and your plugins for sure, as all the other software available to code the LEDs is PC only and I am on Mac.
