zebra HZ -- diva filter quality and rendering

For those of us with hosts that do not allow real-time "best" quality mode using the Diva filters in Zebra HZ, the recommended approach is to set the filter quality ("Accuracy" setting) to a lower mode, then set the "Offline Accuracy" to "best".

My question is, are there currently any known hosts where the offline accuracy setting is ignored (or unpredictably followed) when rendering? I recall a good while back that many of these offline settings were suspect because the VST implementation in a lot of hosts at the time was not correct and thus the VST plugin did not necessarily "know" when it was doing an offline render.

This is a bit of a "trust us" situation, and I wanted to know if it was safe to do so (I'm using Cubase 6.5 Windows, but this is really more of a general question).
