Hey guys! :)

I dunno if this was suggested before, but seeing that pretty much all u-he synths support microtuning tables via .tun files, I have wondered if it would make sense to implement the possibility of defining a global .tun files folder for all u-he synths one might have. This would alleviate the need to have duplicates in "Tunefiles" folders across multiple synths...

I see this is possible on OSX (in the manual), but not for Windows. Would symlinks work?

I regularly use symbolic links, for this problem. I also use them to link common IR files into convolution reverb vst directory folders, common drum samples into drum sampler directory folders, syx. files etc. etc.. It saves alot of disk space and enables any vst to have access to all relevant files. Also having centralised directories allow you to quickly see exactly what you have on your system. There are good freeware applications out there, so spend a little time and familiarise yourself with symbolic, hardlinking etc. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/posting.p ... 1&t=400504#

I do know how to create symlinks and stuff like that, I'm just wondering if it would work. Time to try it out. :)
