I apologize if this has been dealt with, but I have searched quite a bit and didn't see quite this topic mentioned.
While loving Zebra 2.7 beyond all reason, and additional thrilled that I get yet another update for my purchase price, I do have a small item to report. (This is on my ancient but solid Windows XP machine.)
Between 2.6 and 2.7 it appears there is some difference in the way fonts render on the GUI. I have a PDF that exemplifies this, but this BB did not allow me to attach the file. So I uploaded it to my Wordpress site at http://wp.me/anrSR-PK (or the PDF at http://ccmw.files.wordpress.com/2014/01 ... dering.pdf] Hopefully the differences are clear enough; check out the patch name at the top of the screen and the "sum modulations" text in the ModMixer on the right. This screen grab is from a "large" size GUI option.
Any information will be greatly appreciated. (And incidentally, I'm so happy that the "white lines" bug was fixed; that sure was an annoying artifact!)
Zerba 2.7 GUI fonts seem to render differently...

Yes, Urs mentioned that was a fix for some GUI rendering bug before. Some additional improvements to how the fonts are being rendered will come at a later point. Get used to it as it is now.

What EvilDragon said. We're in the middle of a larger overhaul of the GUI framework and we hope to have really great, scalable font rendering in the near future. It requires us though to redesign most user interfaces with a set of freely distributable fonts.
