Just purchased Sonic Academy Kick and the GUI will not work in mulab (latest version of mulab).
I can alter the parameters using the generic editor but this means I am unable to select some of the Kick synth options.
I also have ANA by sonic academy and that has the exact same issue!
Any suggestions?

I have similar issues with the latest MuLab using VSTs that have scalable GUIs. I have a couple dozen VST instruments. It loads all my VSTs with fixed window sizes like Alchemy. However, when I load Izotope Iris (scalable GUI) and click in the window, it goes all white. I have tried loading it several times -- sometimes I can click in the window once or twice, but the image comes and goes, breaking up into blocks. Its unusable. MuLab also does not recognise my five u-he VSTs which have options for different screen sizes. I just downloaded the MuLab demo today to try it out. I really like MuLab, but I use Iris often. Bummer!

Sonic Academy are the only ones I have issues with. I have Zebra and Alchemy and they are fine.
Mu-Lab is brilliant though - the MUX environment is a god send once you get into it - Love it.
I hope the glitches you experience don;t put you off.
I am hoping the developer (Jo) will see this post and help - he nearly always does so keep an eye on this thread.

I assume you both are on OSX right?
I've been researching this issue recently again and i could not find anything wrong in MuLab. I'm not yet 100% concluding that the problem is outside MuLab, but at least i can't find anything wrong.
In more detail:
It's clearly about a UI refresh problem. I've put breakpoints at any relevant point in the Mu-OSX interface to see if the code is missing some refresh case but i couldn't detect such case.
At the same time i think it's the responsability of the plugin to redraw its own UI whenever necessary. It's not up to the host to redraw a plugin's UI. A host even doesn't have access to a plugin's graphic resources, that's all plugin code.
Ok, but this doesn't solve the problem of course. If any of the relevant plugin developer companies wants to cooperate on narrowing this down that would be great, i'm eager to solve this! Please contact me about this via email.

i think it might be a bug in juce that if you have have windows scaling set to anything other than 100% it can mess up the GUI.
