im still at learning DIVA and hopefully with your help i can understand this synth step by step, even with some tutorials i am not understanding it yet.

i want this LFO2 knob modulated in the range i marked yellow. how can i achieve it?

Image

normally i would think the LFO2 VIBRATO window and i played a bit there but somehow i dont hear the range modulated :(

Depth Mod in LFO section modulates the total output of the LFO (which in turn adjusts the modulation amount to all destinations that particular LFO is assigned to)...

Post

... otherwise you can multiply LFO2 with Mod Wheel etc.. and select 'Multiply' for that knob instead of LFO2. But perhaps you want to MIDI-Learn that knob instead? (in which case, read page 34 of the manual)

sometimes lfos just suck and you wont get something what you would by simple tweaking with your mouse, even if it looks like a perfect job for an lfo, it still usually sounds better with mouse haha so it's better to automate it by hand while recording.
Dubstep for example, you wanna sound like skrilex or whatever his name is, do it by hand.
you wanna sound like a loser incapable to do what skrilex does, than do it with lfo and in the end call your track "melodic dubstep".
Thumbs up for skrilex, thumbs down for losers with their melodic dubstep. hahah

Naw, if you really want to do what Skrilex (sic!) does, you MUST mouth your sounds yourself. You know, go to your mic, turn the preamp all the way up, press record and go "WOAAHOUWOWOWOWOOOWOOOOWUUUUWOWAAWOWAABADRPTSCHHHH". Run it through a series of FX (guitar amp and super-wide chorus will do) and off ya go.

Only total noobs use keyboards. Not to mention virtual instruments. Thumbz down for dumb advices.

Zuper wide choruz on bazz will do for kidz creating "melodic dubztep" and uzing Z's inztead of S's, hahha
Thumbz down for uzing Zs :ud:

The next trend will be N instead of 'S', rotational symmetry is gonna blow up big in 2030.

Nah, people will be too smart to use that much curves and angles, they'll jump straight to "I" instead of S.

i still dont get it mates :( ahhhhhh im too dumb i guess for this synth lol.
in other synths it's not that hard, for example i modulate with SINE WAVE the panning of an oscillator, i just click on LFO2 the panning option, the depth on how fast etc. and tadaaaa done. here i also want it just synced triangle lfo2 which turnes the knob in the range i marked..... is it so hard to understand on DIVA?

im getting desperate slowly. sure with automation it's much easier for me now but i wanna learn such SIMPLE and ELEMANTAL tricks. thanks a lot!

The first and second replies by Evil Dragon and Howard explain it... It is easy

Not dumb, I wonder if you're just looking at it wrong. The knob you are turning is a mod amount knob. (i.e. how much the lfo is allowed to 'turn' the cutoff knob for you around the cutoff frequency set by the cutoff knob. The lfo itself, of course, being located in the lower left.)

Although, if you really do want the effect of modulating the mod amount, which is what your picture seems to show, you can just modulate lfo2 depth by lfo1. This is a cool effect for sure that many synths do not have.

^What spacecult wrote above^. Use the whole range of that knob, but feed it a varying amount of LFO2.
