I tried dispatching every alternate note to two different VSTi's in MUX today using the Note Key Splitter and connecting every alternate output pin to the two synths. I ran into a couple of issues.

1. It seems that all the controllers are only dispatched to the first output pin. So the 2nd VSTi only receives note messages. It would be handy to have a set of toggles to decide which output(s) get the controller messages.

2. Connecting every alternate connection to the two synths works in principle because the splitter simply assigns each alternate note to the next output. But there's no control of note-priority and note-stealing in the current implementation which can be very useful when dispatching to a number of different synths with limited polyphony.

IMO the Note Key Splitter could be seriously enhanced by turning it into a polyphonic note dispatcher, like the input key-to-voice assignment of a synth, with different note-priority modes and note-stealing modes, including unison modes, multi-unison modes (several notes/outs to a key), and output assignment choices - in particular setting the number of active output pins so the logic decides what goes to what, instead of handling it by connecting all the pins to different VSTi's.

Thanks for considering. ;)
