EVE Data folder

Dash Guys,
Now that we are starting to get quite alot of soundsets, it would be just great if the user could define his or her own folders within the EVE data folder. Unfortunately, moving dashsnd files out of the current folders means that the bundled presets do not work.

I personally would like to put all my raw waveforms (currently spread across waveforms, AOS, and FK 1)in the waveforms folder, for instance, and all the sounds I like for string type tones in the ensemble folder, all organs in organ folder, maybe have my own folder for dark tones- you get the idea.

This would just give the user more control over his or her sounds, in a way that is individually relevant -or maybe I am just a freak for organisation

Is it possible? DO you like the idea?

Thanks for the idea, but right now there is no way to do such thing. What you could do is create a new dir called _Waveforms and place a copy of all raw waveforms under this new dir, while keeping a copy on the "old" directories for presets sake.

If EVE would search for waveforms it would get too slow on presets change. That's why the presets links the directory location.
