Greetings,
When trying to save a default setting in Pro Tools for either, Diva, ACE or Zebra, I get the following error message...
Settings can only be saved in the "AM_PACKAGE_NAME" folder inside the "Root Settings" folder or inside the working session's "Plug-in Settings" folder, or sub-folders of these folders.
All my other AAX instruments would automatically create a folder with the instrument name in my ~/Documents/Pro Tools/Plug-in Settings, allow me to save it, then set that setting as default.
For Diva (Rev 2165), ACE (Rev 2157) and Zebra (Rev 2157), I get the above message and I have to manually create a folder and save the setting, but when I set that setting as default, that setting is not recalled when I launch a new instance of the plug in.

Hmmm, can you explain exactly which way you're saving settings, and maybe send a screenshot of the error message to support at u-he dot com?
"AM_PACKAGE_NAME" is an internal variable of ours which should always resolve to the plug-in bundle's name. You might have stumbled across a mistake in our compiler configuration files.
Thanks,
- Urs
