when, it's hard to say right now, as we have manyVolmorth wrote:When will this next set of instruments for Eve be available, and what is the price?
things to be finished currently, maybe in May
the price for each EVE BITR Library
(SoundSets + 128 presets) should be about 29 USD : - KEYBOARDS , - ENSEMBLE, - SYNTH (names will be changed though)

Will you be offering all your EVE soundsets in a bundle? I'm interested in buying them but would like to wait until you have a package on offer.
EVE is excellent and I'd like to read some feedback about the current soundsets. Maybe someone could review them. Are they very different from the original soundsets?

I'm another EVE lover who would buy the bundle at a decent price (I'll fill my drive with EVE soundsets even if it means deleting other VSTi's - but not the DASH synths, of course).
As for future releases, I would love to have soundsets for some of the other quirky, non-clav keyboards that Hohner made (particularly the Pianets).

Hello,
I see your point about the bundle and we'll surely
arrange one,
for reviews you could read the FK betatesters thread
or ask them, they seems to love the new sets.
Pianets samples are not easy to find, honestly I don't even remeber the sound, <grin>
how it was? more harpsy or piano?

Thanks for the hint, Doug. The Hohner Pianet T, the most popular model of the Pianet series, is already on the evergrowing EVE instrument wishlist we have here. Unfortunately we haven´t found one in a good shape until now. But I´m sure we´ll have the chance to sample a good one someday. For everybody else: To get an impression how it sounds try "Humble Stance" (Saga), it´s used as intro hook and the sound character is not too far away from the Wurlitzer EP, depends on the used effect devices.ubiquitous wrote:

how about some grungy 80s stuff: more mono/poly, pro-one with some hard sync and cross-modulation.
but this time how about fewer sample sets, but higher quality ?
i was a bit disappointed with famous keys 2 - i thought the sampling was pretty average....

I agree, that would fit nicely with whats already out there for EVE.munchkin wrote:I'd love to see something like 80's/90's sampler sounds released. A bit like Cult Sampler but for Eve.
But the sample sets kpr lists up top already look very good! Looking forward to em

Hard to describe the sound of the pianet, but you can hear one on the Zombie's "She's Not There". Harder still to explain why this sound appeals to me, perhaps it is the same appeal that Combo Sister has when one could be playing the B4. I am surprised to hear no pianet can be found - I have seen two for sale recently in Ottawa (and I have no reason to believe I live in a motherlode of Hohner keyboards). One was a Pianet T, the other the Clavinet/Pianet Duo, a very cool instrument that I should have bought! Maybe an EVE soundset would take away the pain...

Here some additional comments from our side concerning your latest questions about specific instruments:
A Pianet T is to find, but the problem is the technical condition. This is very important for sampling purposes and spare parts are hard to get, although Hohner is in Germany and we´re located there.
Cult Sampler: Yes, this is a good idea indeed and we already have a concept for a future add-on which is similar to this.
Glass Rubs: This is on the mentioned evergrowing wishlist. We´ve copy/pasted everything what you all mentioned here through the last months and nothing got lost. There are ethnic instruments, Pink Floyd alike e-guitar, even plucked instruments and mallets. It needs a decent concept to make a cool selection. Honestly these instruments are not on the top priority list at this moment but we´ll keep an eye on them for sure.
MonoPoly: Yes, we have many MP-samples, perhaps some of you are aware of our Korg Universe Trilogy sample CDs, there they are. So actually it´s not a problem to provide MonoPoly samples for EVE and I think this could be in a SYNTHS number#2 add-on.
