Script Console Not Displaying Command Input

Hi!

I'm curious if others (I'm on OS X & win8.1) have this issue and know of a fix. I have successfully gotten a script to run and print a message to the console, but anything entered in the prompt in the console just blackholes, yielding no output. `restart` also does nothing.
