Module "Event Delay" delays the note start event, but doesn't affect the note length, right? As a result is "humanizing" subsequent notes of the same key will result in overlapping notes. Not every instrument will handle this correctly. My request is to (optionally) shorten the note's length the same value of the actual delay.

The note length stays intact!
Note start time and note off time are delayed.
Has to be. otherwise you hava a problem. Say you have a note lenth on 1/8 and a event delay of one bar you would have note off before note on.
The behavior is as if you played the note on your keyboard a bit later. No VST should be bothered by this.

If you want to avoid overlapping notes, add the Monophonic Note Tracker after the delay.
If you still need polyphony but only one note on one key you use the Drum Note Processor and put the Mono Note Tracker after each note. It's a bit of work, but you can save that part alone as a MUX and reuse it and post it here for all the other potential users. :)

So there are several ways to get what you need already.

I hope this helps!

Hi Andreas,

sorry for my late reply and thanks a lot for your's. Yes, it helps. And I see the problem you described.

As you wrote, the "Monophonic Note Tracker" is not sufficient, because I wanted to avoid overlappings notes "of the same key", and the MNT avoids "all" overlapping notes. So you suggested the drum note processor plus MNT. This will result in 88 MNTs for a full piano keyboard, right?

Anyway, I will try this approach, maybe with Note Key Splitter plus Note Filter instead.
