It's coming but I'm not sure when.

If you own TDZ and if you have an account on our support website, you download a version of TDZ that includes a beta of ZebraHZ with most of the Zebra 2.7 features and Diva's latest filter additions

I have been re-installing my synth plug-ins after reverting back to Mac OSX 10.6.8/CubaseLE4 after having problems with Mac OSX 10.9.3 and Cubase Elements 7 trial version. Is the latest beta for ZebraHZ: Rev 1593? I thought the latest beta of ZebraHZ had the new distortion modules, but my memory is not getting any better with age.

I'm pretty sure the beta in the zip has the distortion modules.

Thank you for replying. I guess either Rev 1593 is not the latest rev, or I'll just wait for the non-beta release of ZebraHZ with the updates.

This is a kind of weird situation, I have been checking your site for a ZebraHZ update ever since I downloaded 2.7 standard months ago... I want the 2.7 features but don't want to keep flipping back and forth between the two versions, I migrated everything to ZHZ ages ago. What do you suggest is the best thing to do? What is TZH?

Well, it *is* an awkward situation and I'm very sorry about it. When Zebra 2.7 came out, some people encountered some bugs that we could not reproduce, but which we had to take serious. Hence we went on a bugfixing spree, hired an experienced QA guy and even 7 months later, we're still finding niggles that we want to fix before we release an official update.

The good news is that all issues that we considered major / showstoppers are now fixed. There were a few more when we released ACE, but even these should be gone by now.

Nevertheless, some issues were fixed by rewriting complete sections of the source code. The main cause for this is the move towards more parallel processing in multicore CPUs. No current plug-in format was really designed with parallel processing in mind, and the pitfalls therein require conceptual changes on our side. These have to be tested thoroughly as well, much as if it was a new plug-in. Hence the delay, we want to get all of this done once and for all.

TZH? - I guess you mean TDZ, which stands for The Dark Zebra, which ZebraHZ is part of.
