I got 2-3 hours into trying to re-create it with my spanking new registered Zebra 2 and gave my ears a break, while I flipped thru some of the amazing patches you guys have created!
There it was! Already created, by Mr. Carvallo, in his Soliton Demo set, in the PatchLib.
The patch is "mcRadiance" and is a "plucky" kind of texture that goes 'in and out of tune' at various intervals.
It just needs the filter opened a smidge, or a slightly longer decay, but it's there! Thanks, man!
BTW, it's a beautiful tune...one of the few Weather Report ever did with vocals. Google it, if curious.
It guess it goes to show - with all the amazingly talented patch "magician's" that are denizens of this fantastic community - someone may have done (or approximated) what you're after, to shorten your path a little. The cool thing about Z2 is that there are probably 3-5 ways to get there. How many 'slots' do ya' want to use?
