i reloaded some old projects i wanted to finish now and SHOOOOOOCK! some patches sound different from users.... now im shocked and hope to get my old sound back and i think it's because something was changed in recent versions?

i got my DIVA last year in october, need that version :(

EDIT:
yes, something happened, was there any pitching or something which changes the sounds/filters? all my older diva projects sound different now and i have to say im shocked now and hope to get the old sound back...

the sound was changed a bit indeed... more noticeable change for me was with the noise volume. (luckily I didn't produce anything that much thus didn't affect me! :D )

IIRC the changes are VS quality modes and before installing a different/older kit, try changing the quality setting.

thanks for your reply! how do i do that? which one do you mean exactly? :)

i think it is crucial to change sound/behaviour cause for producers this is just bad and when i had issues with fl studio and thei pitching changes i was totally pissed, cause imagine you have some projects or many, update and BAMM! your projects sound different.... u-he, i hope you wont disappoint me.

you know, quality settings "fast" "divine" etc...
There are some filter/resonance difference (especially between some lower quality modes like: draft to fast or fast to great) so the pitching might come from there?

I don't know what or how they specifically changed the sound over the versions but I was suggesting to switch to different quality mode to see if that's helping (at least for the moment)

Can you please save the preset and send it to us? That's the only way to figure out what's wrong, and it might just be a simple setting.

We go through great lengths to ensure that even structural updates don't change the sound.

As for noise volume - a bug was fixed, but the old (buggy) behaviour is availble in the trimmers section ("Bipolar Noise").

Btw. if it's a tuning issue, maybe it's just an octave off? - We had reports that Podolski was an octave off after the last update, and it shares this code with Diva. However, we haven't been able to reproduce it, maybe it happens only when an inbetween version was skipped or due to another side effect.

and lastly, maybe it's an acciental MIDI learn?
