Hello,

I am a consequence newbie with a question I just cant find the answer for, neither in the video nor userguide or forum. What I want to do is simpel but how to do in the consequence chord sequence:

A user made chordsequence with 16 measures, each measure just plays one chord.

I managed to enter the chords in the chord memory. For ease of use I have used one chord memory step for each chord, this way I have used different chord memory positions for the same chord but that dont bother me at the moment. So I have 16 measures with 16 chords that are entered in the right order in the 16 chord memory steps. I use the chord sequence sliders one after another, when I use the 32 steps of the loop and 16 steps that makes two sliders for each chord, resulting with sliders 1,1,2,2,3,3.....But that dont make my 16 measures !

And I just cant figure out how to bring the 32 loop steps of the sequence together with the clock divine 2/1, 4/1 on the right side and the clock divide under the sequence with 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 to just make a simpel 16 measures chordsequence that follows my 16 chords in the chord memory box.

Maybe someone can help me, a chort step by step advice would be very appreciated,

Kind regards,

Richard

Hi tatanka,

hope this helps:
1. loop length on top defines how many steps will be played
2. clock divide at the bottom of the chord sequencer determines the master tempo. Here you can select whether the steps for example are eighth or sixteenth notes.
3. clock divide on the left of the chord sequencer can let you either slow down the chord sequencer by twice or four times.
Here is an example:
If the clock divide of the chord sequencer is set to 4/1 you can create an eight bar sequence from the 32 available steps in Consequence. For the next 8 bars you should create a second pattern. You can toggle between both patterns by midi using the pattern key mode.
If the master clock is set to 1/16 and the chord clock divide to 4/1, four chord steps will result one bar.
Four chord steps should always have the same value.

Evrything works fine now, never thought I could handle this komplex thing in such a short time but with the help of your team, great (I must admit I was quite happy to be able to ask and get answers in german and with an explaining screenshot) !!!
