MFreeformEqualizer in Reaper

I am running 64 bit Reaper 4.75 (most recent version) and 64 bit MFreeformEqualizer 8.06 in demo mode. Reaper loads this plugin in bridged mode as if it were a 32 bit plugin. Is this normal? As far as I know, this doesn't happen with any other 64 bit Melda plugin, although I haven't checked them all.
Thanks in advance!

Well, in that case you must have installed 32-bit plugins. Or maybe you instructed Reaper to bridge even 64-bit plugins?? It makes no sense at all, but afaik FL studio has this option.

When I check "save minimal undo states", the plugin loaded normally (not bridged). If I uncheck it again, the plugin loads in bridged mode again.
UPDATE: I TRIED THIS AGAIN. NOW I CAN'T GET IT TO LOAD NORMALLY EVEN WITH "SAVE MINIMAL UNDO STATES" CHECKED. I WILL KEEP EXPERIMENTING WITH VARIOUS OPTIONS.

No, I checked for that by re-downloading and reinstalling the 64 bit plugin. Same result the second time.MeldaProduction wrote:Well, in that case you must have installed

I have Reaper's "VST bridging/firewalling" option set to "Automatic bridging (when required)", which is the default. All the other plugin compatibility settings are also set to their defaults. With these settings, other 64 bit plugins (both Melda and other vendors) are not bridged.MeldaProduction wrote:Or maybe you instructed Reaper to bridge even 64-bit plugins??
This appears to have something to do with the "save minimal undo states" setting.MeldaProduction wrote:It makes no sense at all, but afaik FL studio has this option.

Please ignore this thread. It turns out that I had "Run as ... dedicated process" checked for MFreeformEqualizer and didn't know it. That setting must have been left over from a previous demo installation because I didn't check it today when I reinstalled the demo.
Entirely my mistake.
