Hi,
I am writing something that needs to convert MCU VPot values into a fixed 0-127 (Pan) range using the 1, 63, 65, 127 values sent from the controller.
I have looked all over for info and examples of this, Tom have you seen anything like this in the existing Bitwig controller scripts? I looked at the Mackie impl but does mackie have endless encoders? The script uses inc().
My problem is the encoder is not endless, so it needs to calc an absolute value. I am totally stuck on this.

So you are saying that you have non-endless encoders that send increase/decrease messages?
Not sure how that could be solved without knowing the position of the knob in some way.
I don't have experience with Mackie - maybe Moss can help?
Cheers,
Tom

Exactly, it doesn't make logical sense. I am beginning to think it was an oversight in engineering but who knows.ThomasHelzle wrote:So you are saying that you have non-endless encoders that send increase/decrease messages?
