Axiom-61 Keyboard - I Need Help Please

I am trying to play an Axiom-61 (M-Audio) through MuLab.
I have spent several hours looking through tutorials, etc
and have still not got a sound out of it.
I have the 64 bit version of Mulab6 and the demos - such as
Birds of Io play perfectly.
I tried to follow a tutorial which tells you to download a VST
but I cannot get any of these to play.
I am obviously new to this, but I am not an idiot - I find this
stuff quite impenetrable.
Can anyone assist ?

In the upper right corner where it says MULAB - click on
that and choose midi setup while your Axiom is turned on.

Choose your Axiom as inputs and outputs and it should work.


At least thats how I do it.

Maybe Jo or someone else can assist you if that
doesn't help.
I am far from an expert on these things.

Absolutely amazing. Here am I in Phnom Penh having just bought a keyboard from someone leaving the place, with no idea what to do, and this fellow from Denmark (!) solves the problem after I had my problem posted for about 15 minutes !!
SBJ you are expert enough for me and I am looking for more VSTs to use now and get some decent speakers for my laptop !!
