Thanks for posting this. A little internet stocking stuffer. Merry Christmas.

(What's Next section mentions possible drum machines, true modulars, even samplers but doesn't mention Zebra III, Zebra III, Zebra III , or Zebra III!)

"Well there's one product coming out, shortly, maybe for Christmas; and another.... oh... it's not right here..."

AARRGGHH WHAAATTT??!!!

Let the speculation begin! :D

Seriously though, great interview and insight into my favourite company on the planet.

Thanks for sharing. Love Urs and the guys. Ridiculously amazing synths.

Remember guys, do a few things really well. Don't stretch yourself too thin.

Lusting after the next evolution of Zebra. Still the best synth on the planet.

:D

Why 's the audio so quiet? You could have run it thru Presswerk!

cool, interview, thanks for posting! :tu:

There is something very Zen & Laidback about the U-he offices, which is surprising consider how much work they do.

If U-he was to become the next native instruments, i imagine they would have a huge room full of vintage analog & Digital hardware for the employees to play with in their spare time.

Maybe a room full of fancy coffee machines and other things too!

Definitely one of my favorite plugin devs.

Thanks for posting woodsdennis. It's great to hear from Urs via video. This video makes me appreciate u-he even more - what with the small size, dedicated coders, and as Urs said, a very "active and approachable team".

Merry Christmas everyone.

I guess we know now what new u-he products we can expect to have in the future if we go by the "missing products" listed by Urs.

The computer he pointed to for the 'oh it isn't there moment' previously had screenshots of what looks like Bazille, so I was very confused.
But thanks for the link and yes I would hope that post Hive, Z3 would be priority (after whatever framework improvements he had in mind for all u-he products)

Thank you woodsdenis. I always get a kick out of hearing Urs speak, in a good way. Somehow he reminded me a bit of Mark Mothersbaugh (from Devo, and does soundtracks) in this video.
