sylenth1 detunes or goes out of key when i use it

hey i purchased the vst sylenth1 over christmas and when i use it after about a few minutes of playing around on a midi keyboard any of the sounds im using start to change. By this i mean go out of key or distort badly like its detuned. I cannot figure why its doing this anyways im using ableton on a mac any help would be great thanks.

That's some very strange behavior. The plugin itself doesn't do that. At least not here under Logic X

First things that come to my mind:
- Any automation going on that may influence this?
- Is there maybe pitchbend information received (broken MIDI keyboard)?
- Distortion maybe from the soundcard? (ok, that would affect ALL sounds)

hey thanks for the reply, yeah ive found it really strange as well and really frustrating as i cannot write anything that sounds good as it always distorts or de tunes, maybe could be my pitch bend on the midi keyboard but i switch it off and it still stays the same.

Yeah, that must be very annoying...

Does it also happen when you start a new session from scratch, not using your own templates?
Unplug completely your keyboard or any other MIDI-device, does it still happen?
If possible test Sylenth with another DAW, does it still happen?

Maybe there is a bug when using Ableton. Which version of Sylenth and Ableton do you use? Maybe an update helps

hey i dont have my sound card connected atm would that be an issue? yeah i might try an update, i cannot try any other daw really as i only have ableton

I also bought Sylenth1 this week. Same problem. When I midilearn the detune knob to a controller the problem is solved. Strange behavior. Maybe it will be fixed when it is out of beta.

is there a way of switching off the pitch bend or modulation to sylenth or should i just map it, i think this is affecting all my vsts not just sylenth
