Hi,
So I recently formatted my pc and re-installed the OS and all software. Mdrummer shows up in Cubase and plays fine in all projects except just in one where its reported as missing. Checking VSTs in this particular project I can actually see mdrummer but re-selecting it means I lose the arrangement and settings I worked so hard to get earlier on. I honestly don't know what's going on here, seeing other projects work just fine. Anyone has an idea?
my setup: Windows XP sp3, Cubase AI6, Mdrummer 5.03
mdrummer missing in Cubase after re-install

Hi,
sadly I'm afraid you have to contact Steinberg about it - the plugin IDs hasn't changed at all, so if it doesn't find it, then they are the only ones to know why. However if you are on Win XP they may just say you need a new OS.
Anyway you can check if you have all interfaces installed - MDrummer should be there as VST2 and VST3. It's possible that you messed up VST plugin path, so Cubase sees only the VST3 version and since you (maybe) used VST2 version before, you can see MDrummer in the list, but it's VST3 version.
