Does it go through the master track when selective mixdown

when you select some parts and mix them down,

does that mix down go through the effects applied to the master track?

Pls understand the difference between tracks and racks. Effects are applied to racks not to tracks.
The audio rendering renders all audio that goes to the very audio output. So if you route all your audio to a master rack and then the master rack goes to the main audio output (= to the audio device) then yes the rendered mixdown will include all master rack effects.
