Hmm. OK. I already own 5, though. What's bonus about getting T5 for $5?

Anyway, as long as I'm getting T6 for $30, that's what I was trying to find.

That is strange I'm not getting upgrade options for 30$ only the 60$ ones??? and i own T5

You want to upgrade to T6. There's only one purchase option that has the words "T6" and "Upgrade" in it.
What's the confusing bit?

Probably the fact that someone who already has T5 is only offered the option to upgrade to a 'combo' of T5 and T6. When they already own T5. So they dont need to upgrade to something that contains it. Because they'd just want an upgrade to T6. Not T5 and T6.
What's confusing about thinking your upgrade path wouldn't normally include upgrading to the thing you're upgrading from?

there are only fuul price options.

Not $5, 5 cents. It's for people with T4 or earlier. That's T(<5).

Which also makes me wonder if you end up with 2 T5 licences, one of which could be sold to recoup some of the cost of the T6 upgrade?

Yeah, I wondered that. But then the next guy you sold it to might want to upgrade to T6, and he'd wind up with a spare, and so on and it'd be like this infinte pool of spare T5 licenses circulating the interwebs forever and ever and ever....
