Just purchased the upgrade to T6 (64 bit, PC, i5, 8GB)

Testing the new Elastique timestreching and pitchshifting algorithms, I experiencing heavy cracking and sometimes bad distortion. It would happen randomly and on other occasions it would occur if I changed algorithm - even to Melodyne. Additionally, the rending of the tracks when timestretching was applied seemed to take twice as long as with T5.

Going back to T5 for now

I've been trying out the T6 64bit demo on OSX 10.9
I own a licence for Melodyne Editor 2.
I'm also experiencing crackling and distortion with it and the playhead doesn't run.

I tried the T5 64bit demo and was getting no sound and no playhead running.
Does it not work with the demo even if I already own it?

If you own Melodyne Editor 2, it should pick it up via ARA and work fully within T6.
(I think this is a separate issue to the distortion )

If it's random, do you get a clean version by freezing/rendering the one track?
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Hi guys, could you let me know what buffer sizes/sample rates you are using? There might be an issue when using very large buffer sizes.

44.1khz 512 buffer size.
Interesting - straight after a render I get either silence or buzzing from Melodyne. Dropping down to 256 buffer then back up to 512 fixes the problem.
