Some great tracks. I'm personally impressed by 2nd place 'Lovejoy' (Photonic). Retro Vangelis style, demonstrates how very "analogue" Hive can sound.

It was a pleasure to play with Hive. As i said in the OSC71 thread, i felt at home with it. My style is pretty 80'ish (is this a word?) and seems to me that Hive is build for that.... but given the amount of different genres in the contest seems that everyone felt Hive ready for him. I did'nt even had any big struggle to get some percussive sound (a thing i NEVER had to do before) one i saw the principle for building them from the presets the guys shared.
Hive is a very nice synth that imho just lacks a couple of minor features (which i listed in the proper thread) and perhaps the ability to import waveforms in the OSCs (i know, i know that it was'nt built for this, i don't even have requested that feature, it's just something i'm used to -look at the gears in my signature ), but i liked it.
A bad thing is that i doubt i can afford it... i'm just a hobbyst, i have a family, and my money is needed elsewhere, so i will miss this "little" synth.

Anyway, i'm grateful to U-HE for giving me a chance to play with it and to allow the contest. It have been a pleasure
