What is this in the NAMM 2015 video?

Any speculation as to what these are? It's located in the inspector, and it's showing when Dom has a track selected. Those are modulation arrows. I'm going insane waiting for 1.2 and can't sit still.. I must know! Wonder what the 8 dots are? Someone on IRC suggested it might modulate the macro knobs or something.

There's a chance I shouldn't be digging this deep into Bitwig's secrets.. If no one hears from me in a week call the American police!

We talked about it a bunch in a few threads right after namm. It's info for the selected device. You can see it switch from track info in the inspector to that view as an effect is selected in one of the videos. The 8 dots is the new icon for the macros and is visible on the device itself, the arrow and gear icons are gone. The 8 controls there are probably the macro controls themselves. The 8 dots icon appears to be a selected tab, so the other two circle/arrow icons in that row are probably tabs themselves which have their own controls. Dunno what they are but maybe something to do with routing. The name panel at the top shows that devices will be namable.

They said they were shooting for end of feb for beta testing so probably not that long now, although I don't actually know if that means that will be closed beta testing with open testing later, or open testing right away.

I actually contacted support about the beta and it'll be like previous betas no closed beta

But 1.1 was closed beta for a while, Beta 5 was the first one we got.

Im just a product owner like yourself it seems, and Im pretty sure I was able to participate in a beta before beta 5 for 1.1 maybe it was because they tolerate my bs in my numerous tickets? lol i dunno may of not hopped on till 5 don't remember

There was a select group of testers that got the 1.1 beta before 5, probably the same sort of people who tested 1.0 before launch.
