I hate to mention it but I now can't find one for insert tempo change
Also I've added a shortcut for "place markers around selected part" - but nothing seems to happen

For M6.4 has been closed for further developments (except bug fixes) as it's in the release pipeline.

That's a function in the audio lab, not in the composer. Not all functions work on all objects. To know what works, see the "Specific" function list in the shortcut manager, that lists the available functions per type.
