Hey guys,

is there a way to scale automation?

(if not I'd like to file a feature request to add mathematical scale functions to the
functions list)

Also, is there a way to record automation into the *big* window?
It seems to me that we can only draw in automation into the big window, but
record only into the lower part of a sequence, which is not really editable.

Do I miss something here?

Is there a way to convert a recorded automation part to the editable, bigger one?
(If not, I'd like to file a feature request for that as well)

I noticed also that it is possible to load an automation part into the sequence player in the mux,
which is pretty nice. Would be even better if there was a module that would allow to change the center/average value in realtime.

Thanks for your time,

tL.

There are two ways to automate.
1) the automation sub tracks with the curves
2) the midi related controller data and parameter

You can record only number 2).
Try to record events, and move your pitch bender or mod wheel. You will get a sequence containing your movements.
You can create automation for any MUX or VST parameter here.

There is a function Change Value 2, which has several options to manipulate those automation data in bulk (add/set/percentage - do a Select All first). You can even record e.g. mod wheel movements and then convert them to automate a filter.

This level of manipulation is (currently) not possible with number 1).
You can lasso breakpoints to select several and move them around. That's about it.

I see, thanks Andreas.
