the video for creating a drum track is not exactly what i am wanting to do . Best way i can say what i want is in the topic chose . Auto sync and play . like for example if i create a song in mdrummer as in drums... and just want fl studio to play this by hitting the play button . The url you posted has nothing to address this issue . I am not asking how to use fl studio to create drum tracks

most vst drum machines i have used will have some kind of button , like sync to host so that when you hit the play button in fl studio it will play , that which you have actually created in the drum vst machine, and if you uncheck the button then the vst drum machine wont play and the beats you create will now have to be done in the fl studio editing features such as the piano roll. or whatever which will then cause the drum machine to play . It appears that this feature is sadly missing in mdrummer 5 large . I have seen in other music forums on the net people asking the same question as me and not getting any answers .

It plays as long as the FL 'song' plays. If you just loop a 4-bar-pattern (read: not being in song mode in FL) then MD will only loop 4 bars, too.
You can also try to trigger the verse/chorus/break or whatever by playing their respective midi note from within the piano roll in FL. See the manual for the right note numbers.
But in this case it will also jump back to the start when FL jumps back.
