Why you need to enter the phone# for the KVR Giveaway?

well i dont have a phone#, so what should i enter? i really want to participate in the Giveaway.

not sure where i should post that, so i thought offtopic seemed right to me, if not not please move it to the right subforum. thank you!

maybe to join you more easily , i remember when i won the first KVR giveaway (NI komplete 9) , it take to them 1 week to join because all their mail was directly on my spam folder.

Actually I never ever got any spam sms on my mobile.
But 2 days ago guess what? I got one for the first time in my life,
the sender was from UK (I'm in Italy now) and the only place I throwed in my private mobile number is here for the giveaways...just sayin..

Ben or someone else wrote here once that it's an alternative method to notify the user that he won. So, if you entered a valid email adress, it shouldn't matter anyway. Not sure if you can leave it blank, i don't think so. But you won't get spammed, that's for sure.
