It's been brought up a few times before, but I think it's definitely time that there was a way to drag fades on multiple clips at once. It would be such a great new feature. I feel CTRL+ drag fade effecting the fades on all selected clips would be the way to go, but maybe there is a better way. Hell, maybe there's a way to do it already, that usually seems to be the case when I post.
What do you guys think? I've been fading clips one by one for so long and TSC is doing such a great job with updates that it just feels right.

All clips would begin the fade at cursor? What would happen if a clip was not located at cursor?

No, this wouldn't have anything to do with the cursor. Just that you could do fades via the clip fade handles that effect all the selected clips.
So if you have 10 drum tracks that you want to fade the same way at the end of a song, instead of doing each one separately you shift click to select each clip then CTRL drag just one. They would all then fade out together. If one clip already has a fade it could "scale" so to speak. Of course thats just an example of one way to do it.
Maybe it's just me, but this is one basic editing function I am really missing.

I haven't tried it yet but I'd think that you use the "submix" feature to group the drums then automate the fade on the drum submix?

there is a lot that could be made more elegant regarding the editing of clips (fades, crossfades, highlighting areas for cutting/deleting without using the I/O markers, ...).
i hope there will be updates regarding that in the near future. i can't imagine to do heavy cutting/editing work on recorded audio right now with tracktion. it's sooo slow in that regard

I hear ya. It was a bit rude to start this post as I know many people have other feature requests. This one is just bit more glaring to me, mainly because of the speed that TSC has been putting out fixes and features lately, it seems like it should be possible if not fairly easy. It doesn't get in the way of anything else and flows with the Tracktion ethos. your request could be a good startingpoint to bring things forward.
it has to start somewhere ...
the I/O Marker approach of tracktion has some good sides, but for fast and fluent audioediting it is just too clumsy, at least for me and my workflow. if there's not too much to edit, everythings fine.
