So does this mean we could build patchable hardware ala the Korg MS20 controller?

ACE patch cables are automatable - my template for using ACE in Kore allows already for hardware control of the patch cables using the Kore knobs. For example I can just turn one knob and cycle through every possible routing for the cable that knob is assigned to.
Not sure what information the cables in that Korg controller send though to interface with the plugin version.
