Hi. When i render my mix in T5 it cuts the file off right after the last note is played. Well, this doesn't sound to good if you have an effect ringing out on the last note, in which Tracktion cuts it off the effect and ends abrubtly. Does anyone know how to extend the ending of the file so it doesn't cut out the delay on my last note???
Also, as soon as you choose to render the mix, Tracktion 5 starts rendering it immediately without giving you the option to adjust the render controls such as 24 bit or 16 bit, etc. I've gone into the settings tab to find those adjustments maybe and nothing...So, is there something i don't know here or is this the way T5 works, period?? In T2 i could control all of these things very easily.

Just put an empty midi clip in the edit to extend it.

Rendering...
Put In/Out points around your song (or section you want to render)
Put the Out point a couple of bars further along so the song fades naturally.
Export/Render to a file.
When the render box opens there are different options for wav/midi/mp3 etc as well as an option to render automatically. If you click render automatically it remembers the last settings you used and uses them as a future default.
Unfortunately it means that after whenever you choose to render something in future it renders it based on your last choice.
I seem to remember clicking the "Render Automatically" box in an older version and then couldn't find how to get back to having a choice so in later versions I've always left it unchecked.

By the way, do most of you leave dithering on? What exactly does dithering do?

I for in O for out.
Alternatively click on a clip and press M or use Alt surround to select multiple clips and then press M.
You can then drag the out point to wherever you want.
