Running T6.1.9 on W7professional - (of course legal, store purchased)
1. T6 crashes when i try to delete a track that contains any clips. I first have to remove all clips from the track - then I can delete the track.
2. In some - not all - projects T6 has rearranged the order of tracks in a folder (i.e. "Drums") every time i open the project/edit. Not alphabetically, just random...
3. Sometimes when i change the gain on a clip using my mouse wheel, T6 also changes the tracks output assign/track destination...
4. It seems i can no longer solo a muted track.
When i klickthe solo button teh track first becomes unmuted, then i can solo it by clicking again.
This is really annoying if I want to A/B check stuff and so on.
Probably this has something to do with my settings - which leads us to number 5:
5. Under the "Settings" tab, in "General behaviour", I cannot scroll down. I can change "Default marker type", then no more. This has been the case since T5. Luckily i could import my settings from way back in T3, so it's not really a big deal, but every now and then. (for example number 4...)

Some of that sounds like there's something a bit broken in your specific install, rather than a generic Tracktion bug. Not all of it, but definitely the settings and solo stuff
There's a General Settings page option for "Solo Behaviour", can't remember when it came in, that lets you choose "Exclusive Solo" or "Cumulative Solo". I think you might be using the other one, not the one you expect to use. For whatever reason.
If it was me, I'd take screen grabs of all the settings pages you can see properly (Microsoft Snipping Tool is good for that, type "snippingtool.exe" into a run box, or it's probably under Accessories in the menu), then delete your T3 settings file, and restart, with a fresh new T6 settings file. And manually recreate all your settings.
You'd need to close down tracktion, then delete these files;
%AppData%\Tracktion 4\CurrentUserSettings.trksettings
%AppData%\Tracktion 4\CurrentUserSettings.trksettings.old
%AppData%\Tracktion 4\Tracktion.settings
You can always back them up first, and if something goes horribly wrong, close tracktion, and put them back, to get back to where you are today.
I think that should sort out points 4 and 5. I wouldn't bet against it sorting out point 1, because I'm an optimist.
As an aside, do you run Tracktion in english, or in Swedish, using swedish language file?
If the latter, do you see the same issues running it in the standard english install?

Point 4 seems to be the behaviour irrespective of cumulative solo settings.
Was it ever any different?
Like Chico I think the crashes point to a mangled settings file, and your story of what you have had to do would suggest this

Never had 1-3 on W7 home premium. I remember a possible reference to #1 in an update. Do you know how to check or send a crash log? Could it be a plugin (doesn't sound like it, but you never know)?
4. This is normal as far as I am concerned. It could be a feature request though because I like the idea, you are right that it would help.
5. This should be fixed (with a scroller). On my new monitor I have more than enough space to see everything, but on my old monitor I could just barely see the last option. Some else posted about it also. I would try to change your resolution temporarily, or use a friends computer to figure out those settings and save them.
Until then here are the options that are after that. Maybe you won't need to change them.
Default Freeze Point (Options: pre-filters, pre-fader, post-fader)
Freeze Point Creation (Options: manually freeze tracks, freeze track when a freeze point is created or copied)
Default Drag X-Fade: (On or Off)
Comping Fade Time: This is a slider in milliseconds

The most annoying thing is actually nr 3, when changing the gain it changes the track destination - any tips on that?

It has worked fine up till T5!
I often used it when comparing an old mix (muted stereo track) to a current mix, simply by soloing the old one muted stereo track, and then soloing it. The "mute light" (red M) was still on, but the Solo indicator lit up, and I could hear only that track. Very useful!

I remember scrolling and scrolling - but that might be way back in T2/T3.

For the crash log, make Tracktion crash, then open it again and go to help (bottom left), then show Tracktion log file. Sometimes you can look yourself and see if it was a plugin or something. I can't remember how to send it, I did it once, but it eludes me now, sorry.
