Hi All,

Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm currently running ZebraCM [Computer Music Edition] within Max 7.
I have assigned 4 custom Midi CC Mappings and saved as a preset though I noticed that on recall the CC's were not re-mapped. Could anyone advise regarding this? Little awkward re-mapping each time!

Cheers!

Garry

Works OK here in other hosts. I even saved an fxp from one host and loaded it for ZebraCM in another host and the automation mappings were still there.

Thanks for checking that....hmmm I wonder if it is a Max specific issue after all...that doesn't make much sense though, it does appear to loading the non CC related aspects of the preset. Will need to investigate further I think!

MIDI CC mappings are global in our plug-ins - once set up they work for all instances. They are not stored in presets.

At the moment one can not save and load different mappings.

However, we're transitioning to a new preferences panel (available in Hive and Presswerk so far) which we might in the long term extend to save and load MIDI mappings.

Hi Urs,

Thanks for the reply, sorry if I'm misunderstanding but that does that infer that if I set up the CC mappings once (in any host), that they will still be mapped in any other host or instance? Or do you mean that essentially once cannot save CC mappings?

Thanks,

Garry

Former - you do it once, it's set up everywhere on the same machine forever (until you set it up differently)

Thanks Urs, appreciate the help!
