MXXX- reporting plug-in delay?

It looks like MXXX does not report a plug-in module's delay to the host.

Here is the Equalizer linear-phase in MXXX, with MequalizerLinearPhase below:

Yes, I already explained - MXXX doesn't have latency compensation (hence no latency reporting). It's a very complex thing considering the modularity...

Sorry, I missed that explanation.

I'll just have to be careful when using the EQ Linear Phase in MXXX - I've found that can add the Utility module to the other audio streams and add a delay of 743.04 ms (= 32768 samples /44100 samples/sec).

While I'm here, a couple of suggestions that would be useful to me:
(a) in the Mixer module: Solo and Mute buttons on each Input
(b) in the Utility module: the maximum delay, in samples, is 10,000 - make this higher e.g 44,100 (or 48,000 or ... that is, 1 second's worth of samples)

Solo and Mute on individual frequency in the crossover module also...

Solo/mute: Will see, not promising anything, you can always to these things a different way.

Utility delay: Makes sense. I just hope nobody is automating/modulating the delay, that would break the backward compatibility.

... and it is a beta at the moment, after all. ;)

Actually I already did in one of my presets. I linked the Utility>Delay>MS to a MultiParameter. Hopefully I will remember this and I will fix this thing in the preset then, hehe. :)

Ha! Now that would make it a little more problematic... But we could add a "DelayTap FX", which would do just well delay, one tap :).

Well, the delay I used with the utility module is really just a real delay, since the preset is a revers ghost-like effect. The dry signal has to be delayed till the reversed reverb effect has finished.

After all: I would have absolutely no problem fixing my preset. So if you'd ask me: just change the utility feature. ;)

Yeah, but others might have done the same thing... backward compatibility is a b*** :). I think Delay Tap is inevitable anyway for latency compensation.
