mulab recording audio on imac

I'm new to mulab but enjoy it's layout. I have an apogee usb MIC as well as an elgato thunderbolt dock. I'm trying to monitor using the headphone out of the elgato and record with the apogee MIC. I cannot figure out a way to do this in MULAB. In the audio setup there are not separate choices for input and output. Any ideas? I know MIC is working and the elgato because I'm able to do that setup in Ableton Live. Thanks
