Awwww, that's so cute!
BUT: the image path is not relative, so the image cannot be found.
AND: if I choose the picture manually, the png won't load properly and is read in the wrong format, stretching it out with "vertical scanlines" in it. That just means the format is off.
Your image is "indexed 8 bit", which should be fine, but in my MuLab 6.5.28 it won't load correctly. If I save the image as 24bit png it loads fine.
But the idea is HILARIOUS!

Oops sorry, I will try and sort it out, Im at work so its a bit awkward at the moment. Stupid question but how do I make it relative ?
As for the format I used an online image shrinker as the original was too big to upload to KVR, thats obvioulsy messed it up somehow

Nope, still the same!
Image is still on a fixed path, has to be manually tracked down.
Image is still at the wrong format, however that works?!

For once, I don't know how your png can look correct in your mulab?!
Here it apparently needs to be 24bit (no transparency).
Ah...no idea how to deal with the file path, sorry!

Before you save the mux (and in this case the muproject), make sure that you first have chosen the picture from a relative path.
So first put your png in a relative path to the mux, then choose this png in the frontpanel design and then save.

Yes try a 24/32 bit PNG. Alpha channel is supported.Taron wrote:For once, I don't know how your png can look correct in your mulab?!

I created a folder on the desktop and inside that are the Project file, the Mux file and the image.
I then open Mulab and open the Project from that folder, open the Mux from same location and edit the image location to that folder also.
I then re-save the Mux in the same folder overwriting if necessary, then save the Project also overwriting. What am I doing wrong?
When I open the MuProject file using right click/ EDIT, in among all the gobbledygook it shows that the image file is indeed in that folder so I dont know whats wrong, probably something blindingly obvious

At the beginning of the project file Little Drummer Boy.MuProject, reading it in a notepad, I see this:
{Desktop}/Little Drummer Boy/Project/Little Drummer Boy.MuProject
It means that the project still refers to the Desktop. It should not.
Further I also see this, at the beginning of the second quart:
{Desktop}/Little Drummer Boy/Mux/Little Drummer Boy.Mux
Same problem. It should not.
And once again at the very end of the file.
Same problem. It should not.
Open the Muproject in a notepad and search for the string {Desktop}.
I think that the problem is there. You shouldn't see it anywhere.
