Hello, trying latest Mulab 6 and i am testing out the features trying to save a new small project. Upon save it does not see the earlier Musessions from Mulab 5 when I was also testing it..any ideas please? Thanks

When you're saving, you're selecting a directory not a file.

Indeed MuLab 6.4 and up works with .MuProject files. Upon loading you see both .MuSessions and .MuProjects, upon save only .MuProjects as it's recommended to save new projects with the .MuProject extension (done automatically). When you load a .MuSession and save it again it will automatically be a .MuProject file.yul wrote:Hello, trying latest Mulab 6 and i am testing out the features trying to save a new small project. If for some reason you would really want to overwrite an existing .MuSession file from a new project, then you could first rename that .MuSession to a .MuProject in the finder(osx)/explorer(windows), or you could switch off file extension filtering in MuLab's file browser, cfr this picture:

OK thanks for clarifying I almost overrote and lost an older small project that was under .musession but it would not be visible in the "save as" field even if I was saving under muproject. At least I was prompted which is what saved the day. This might cause confusion with older projects not being visible when saving I guess. Thanks again for your help!
