Since the CamelAudio forum is gone away forever, and this forum rocks, I figured I'd just ask here. Has anybody upgraded to 64 bit Windows 10 and used Alchemy on it? I was about to hit the big fat upgrade button but then realized that Alchemy is out of support and I still like using it from time to time. I just want to make sure it will work out OK.

Also, some new tunage using mostly U-he synths. ;)

Just checked. Worked fine for me in Fl Studio 12 and in Ableton Live 9.2. Loaded it in each and tried five or so presets from different libraries. I'm on 64-bit Windows 10.

Thanks Roy. I may just dive on in to Windows ten! Hey that rhymes. :)

Personally this whole camelaudio thing is not worth a second look anymore and i regret i did take it in the first place. I mean, how could you go about all your hard work/time/love/drama by creating such software and then let it go, without a single word.

It's like finishing a Girlfriend via SMS or smth as low quality behaviour..

must have been a livetime paycheck to sell yourself this hard..kinda poor in the end.

Works here.

...but why you are invading U-He forum with Alchemy questions ? :D

Post

As far as any type of synth forums go, no one compares to u-he's forum from what I have seen. I realize this must be time consuming for Urs & company, though I am amazed how lacking (or non-existent) the forums are for many of u-he's competitors. U-he makes some great products, though this forum definitely adds to the appeal. :)

Nice & somber tune Erkenfresh!

Lol themachinelt, are you trolling me? :)

Yeah it was sad to see CamelAudio just vaporize like that. There's rumors that Apple bought them out but nothing substantiated. The closest thing we have to making the rumor seem real is that Garageband has a new synth that is very much like Alchemy.

U-he's synths are spectacular, but Alchemy still fills a gap with it's sample manipulation approach.

No im not, its like going to Apple forums and starting a discussion about Asus, Dell, HP computers and just to draw a connection with Apple to not get kicked out for posting in wrong forum "oh i have a power supply of apple" :)

Your post has ZERO connection with u-he, only last part a track in wich you used the synths (btw your track is really nice! :) ).

No im not trolling, your post should be moved to somewhere at instruments or another section. But definatly this is not the place. Do you realise how it would weird it looks when you come to check anything new releted to U-He products and you see that post like this:

CamelAudio Alchemy + Windows 10

Unless you think Alchemy is Uhe :D

Post

Yes let's post all synth related stuff from now on in the u-he forum, because it rocks. Might as well close the Instruments forum :hihi:

LOL, haven't been back here in a while. But I did give a pretty good reason in the OP. I wasn't sure where else to ask.

I decided not to upgrade to 10. Everything works fine on 7 right now and I have zilcho reason to do a corruptgrade to 10.

By the way, to make this relevant to U-he. I must say that Diva is one heck of an amazing synth. I am really starting to prefer it the most of all the synths I own. Thanks U-he!

If you think its a good reason to barge in in to a different developer forum. Sir you are literaly stupid. :clown:

Just because it rocks. Oh yeah f**k lets barge in ur house crash it only because your house rocks and mine doesnt. Lets go to a shop and steal money just because it rocks to do so and i dont have any. Ill just take your car because it rocks and i dont know where to get from any elswhere. But who cares those are good reasons to act like a douche. :D

Wow .... take a chill pill .... the guy was just asking for help .... let's play nicely kids :D

By the way, back to the OP ... no issues with Alchemy on Windows 10 64bit here (Live 9 & Sonar Platinum - both 64bit)

Post

Urs can move this to the Instruments forum anytime he wants. So, he's either too busy or isn't bothered by this.

Wanna see something funny? Go Google "camelaudio alchemy windows 10". :)

Sorry for all the trouble. Next time I can't find the answer to something on the internet I just won't ask if there's nowhere more appropriate to ask.
