MXXX issue and Linear Phase EQ.

Just trying the latest 9.09
And I've got some issues. The Linear Phase Eq creating latency. Using both in MXXX and in the Mlinearphase EQ. and MXXX when empty raises the volume a good deal(though I'm thinking thats not a big and imagine a producer, complaining about loudness :P Oh the irony :)
WIN8.1 x64 FLS 2.1.2

EDIT: Please excuse the glitch replies, my my mouse is jumping, meant to click edit but hitting the quote... :dog: :dog:
Hope this info helps. Cheers :)
I've tried attaching a video, but I believe it failed, hmm.

Well ... I am no developer from Meldaproduction and not from Imageline, but maybe you could still update such a project in which it occurs and I could take a look at? I use FLS as well. :)

By the way: FLS 12.1.3 is out already. It's always good to update to the latest version. ;)

Lin phase EQ introducing latency is normal, not a bug.

The volume jump occurs some time after you inserted MXXX, but before you insert the EQ. Please check the meters section of MXXX (it's collapsed in your case), it contains controls for input and output gain as well.

Cheers, Thorsten

Yes, I forgot to mention this as well, sorry!

DOH! Forgot to install the latest FL. As for a project, there isn't one, it just a basic template I made with some things I like, that are off, by default. The drum pattern I made was a so I had some kind of audio to test, MXXX. Thanks :)

Ok, so is it solved or something? Sorry but this looks like a long discussion and I didn't even get the original question :D. What is/was the problem exactly?

 Yeah, I believe I got it, it was about latency.
BUT, I do have another, have the EQ's been changed?
They feel like there are doing things backwards, and some times, they don't seem to have any effect, moving the frequency knobs, as in, if I set No.1 to say, a HP Filter and drag it to the right,(using EQ's inside MXXX or Meq, outside of MXXX) there seems to be no or only a slight change, I'm I missing something simple? I don't remember this happening in the older versions. I use FLS's Parametric EQ, a good deal and the above setting works as the LP should, in my experience. But, given that Malda's EQ's are far more flexible, I'm sure I'm missing something.
And, any chance of a dedicated Parametric EQ, from Melda?

Sounds like you could have moved the "Dry / Wet" knob by accident. Again: you could save a very simple test-project with just these effects and send it over (just start a new project and load the effects and turn some knobs like you would say something have to be wrong). Maybe I / we can see things you may did wrong (by accident)?

Hehe, hell they are for sure! ;)

Hmmm, Scott, I'll really need some kind of testing project, I just don't understand what you are saying at all.

No problem. I'll put something up, at lunch, today. It'll be a few hours. I'll do a couple of small projects. With both meld's and a couple other eq's. Thanks ;)
