Just three prototypes on the concept. Its in all my latest vids on YT

I currently don't know how many I'm going to do or the exact final form. Either a Famicom mod,
or a custom case, or whatever.

Im assuming this hardware is a dev tool, or is it an end user product? If so I'm intrigued :)

David, pwrrleEaeAeeese (im doing my best Roger Rabbit impression here) let the C64 be your next release. I'm so waiting for that one. I know that the nes has a big following, but i'm waiting (really.. checking everyday on your twitter) to see some news about the 64

Its not going anywhere and I'm quite happy with its sound quality. We just need to polish it and tweak some features. But seems SNES (chipsynth SFC) is more requested for the next one.

C64 and DX7 are the two Plogue emus I'm looking forward the most. I'm by no mean nostalgic nor do I plan to use them idiosyncratically (quite the opposite actually) but considering how stellar PortaFM and Chipsynth FM sound, and what both can sonically offer... they'll be instant purchase and use a lot (big time).

C64 is the only one I'm really waiting for, as I don't really have any nostalgic connection to the other emulated chips / machines, while C64 pretty much equals my childhood. But of course I have bought and will buy all the Chipsynths anyway.

Yeah I'll have a hard time avoiding the nes chipsynth just because I don't feel a solid connection with the sound...anyway I see MD as a proper huge synth with great sound and possibilities.

A little dream I have about the c64 is to include emulations, controls and all, of Mssiahs monosynth and bassline...

Exactly, maybe some people didn't aware of that when expecting a regular chip sounds. This is the first lo-fi synth that I can really connect with for being deeply played by heart. Almost like if the Mirage has an FM engine, rare synth with a raw, dark and low frequency power. Something that I've been waiting for in a form of plugin as convenient as this. Love the warmth, alive engine quality and the hardware vibe. The basic 4 operator sounds great already, but within stack mode we're talking giant FM synth here, just make the count. It's scary if the upcoming DX1 implementation is going to be like this. But as usual, it's a Plogue gotta be mind blowing to the smallest details :phones:

I'm a bit disappointed with the PSG section. No envelope? No Pulse width? No LFO? Basically no controls at all.
