Best host they ever made, they were mad to get rid of it (up there with NI dropping Kore for dumb business decisions).Coxy wrote:Love these old anecdotes

I'm glad I didn't get on board with Project 5. Imagine where it would be by now.aMUSEd wrote:Best host they ever made, they were mad to get rid of it (up there with NI dropping Kore for dumb business decisions).Coxy wrote:Love these old anecdotes

That SOS article seemed to think it was a real competitor to Reason. My recollection about it was that yeah, it sucked. I knew of it because Lol Tolhurst formerly of the Cure was promoting it. I recall I felt sad for him.Nielzie wrote:Yes, it sucked

Yes, I remember it, what do I win? And it's not a DAW by a mile. More like ReBirth.
Back then, Jeskola Buzz was king. And still is.

I have it on my PC, got a bit of problem running it in Win 7 though
I think it is pretty good fundament, too bad they abandoned it.
I bought it at clearance sale in a music shop, after Arturia had abandoned it. Anybody know if any of these got released, and what was included?:

Storm came with "an environment where storm users can collaborate online within the software"
That's pretty forward thinking for 2005

I remember some (many) years ago i was very sad that this thing had been discontinued: http://www.kvraudio.com/product/koblo-studio-by-koblo Looked like a nice, free Reason replacement. Never had the money for Reason, that's why i was looking for alternatives.

Somebody had to bring up Project 5
If Cake would just make it multicore and 64 bit, I would use if today.
