Hi,
I thought the synced envelopes would actually adjust to the host tempo, so an attack or release phase is always a 16th or half note long, adapting to the actual bmp. But this isn't the case, it's just the display that helps you configure a 16th note attack for the current bmp, as soon as you change the host tempo it doesn't fit anymore. Was this never intended to work as I thought it was, or is it a bug?
Cheers, Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,
I don't believe you are right, what makes you think it doesn't work? Please just send me some preset/project or anything.

I think he is right. I made a test in FLS and set up a very basic MPS with a SAW, which goes through a basic filter with a synced envelope. The project is attached.
Now hit play and try to change the tempo. According to the logic that the envelope should be synced, the values (in my case the DECAY of the filter) should change, but it does not happen. You can also hear that on higher tempi the cut off do not come to the SUSTAIN value anymore and on a low tempo the value is reached too fast.
Or am I misunderstanding someone now?

Wait a second - so it is about changing the host tempo?

Seems so, I would say.

Aaaaha, it's possible that you need to move any parameter when the tempo changes, I'll check it out.

Ah ok. The interesting question then is if MPS will follow automated tempo changed when no other params are changed.

I checked, it does not update the envelope lenghts when I change the tempo in Cubase using a tempo track.

I also noticed you can only choose 2 or 4 16ths, not 3 or 5. can that be fixed also?

I'll check, but it's possible that it may just not work... hard to say...
Anyway what you mean by the "3 or 5"??

Ok I see. About 3: if you turn up attack in sync mode, it jumps from 2/16 to 4/16, you can't select 3/16

Hm so I can't set 3/16th? That's bad.

I don't see why that would be so bad
. But I'm afraid it is like that...

What about the "Straight + Tripplets" etc. options? Aren't they counting in between notes?
