Hello,

My name is JC Ivancevich (aka Charles Navi). I'm a software engineer, DJ and producer based in Buenos Aires - Argentina.

Since this is my first post, I'd like to thank Jo and the MuTools community for the efforts you make building this great piece of software. :)

Now, these are the steps to reproduce the bug I think I've found:
  • Mark a rack as SOLO
  • Delete that rack
  • Result: all of the other racks are muted and there's no way to unmute them (AFAIK).
BTW, I'm using MuLab 6.5.35 on Mac OS X 10.10.5.

That's all.

Best!

Right click one of the other racks mute/solo buttons and reset them all in one go from there, no bug and welcome
Beauty is only skin deep,
Ugliness, however, goes right the way through

Have to say, if a soloed rack is the only reason other racks are muted, deleting the soloed rack should unmute the others without any further user action. The cause of the effect has been removed - the effect should also go.

There also appears to be no undo on delete rack and no "are you sure?" popup.

Could it be that you have set the "Confirm Deletes" preference to false?

It says "Current value = On".

In M6.5.35 when i right-click a track MuLab does ask "Are you sure to delete track trackname?"
Doesn't it ask that on your system?

Post

This is about deleting a rack, not a track, so that's not relevant.

Sorry racks indeed, but then it's the same:
In M6.5.35 Right-click a rack -> Delete, then MuLab first ask "Delete rack "rackname" ?"
Doesn't it ask that on your system?

Quite agree. Deleting soloed rack should disable soloing.

I simply hit the delete key as the rack was selected. There was no prompt. However, it's doing it when I try it out now without setting up the muting. I'll have a go later (probably tomorrow) to see if it was related to the routing / other settings.

I must have been mistaken - hit the okay without thinking. The prompt comes up OK.
